XO + Bee Hoon = XO Bee Hoon

I think not having expectations when you do/try something new is best..this would apply to the entry today where we got to eat the XO fish bee hoon, located along Buona Vista road.. this famous store was originally from Holland V and have now moved to a coffee shop along Buona Vista where business does not seemed to be as good as before..

There were two different views for this bowl of fish soup as two people went to try it out..one, had this recently during lunch time, felt that the standard was not as good as the one during lunch, lacking in the XO, while the other, not having had this for a really long time, felt that the soup was rich and thick, with a good amount of XO included into it..I guess its up to individual perspective on whether you like your fish soup having a really strong taste of XO or a mild one..for us, there was a mixed feeling going into this..

As for the crispy chicken, taste wise it wasn't too bad, however, it was really oily!! I guess the focus for this store is the fish..
