PORN's Thai Food @ Junction 10

A visit to the new Junction 10 shopping centre located near Bukit Panjang was quite worth it, with many food choices at this new place. New food outlets that you have never heard of can be found here! It was already quite late when we ventured to this place as spaghetti was busy having a nice meeting. Waffle managed to get the car and off we went!

We came across this thai place as we walked around the first round, still deciding what to eat. However, as we were left with not much choices, we decided to give this place a try. Name of the shop sounds a little weird for an eatery, but nonetheless, lets talk about the food.

We both had a drink each, though the drink in red, rose tea, looked very bloody but turned out to be the nicer one of the two. The barley was not very nice, with a chemical taste/flavouring that spoilt the drink. As for food, we ordered a tom yam soup with glass noodles, pad thai and green curry. All in the name of being extremely greedy! The tom yam soup with noodles was good. Do not be deceived by the clear soup. It was hot and spicy, with a good feeling that comes with it. It taste better than the usual thai eateries that wefrequent. The pad thai came in a huge portion, and plenty of bean sprouts. Taste wise wasn't too bad also, with a delectable and richness in flavouring. Lastly, came the green curry. Personally, we found the curry slightly too sweet for our liking. It was generous with the meat (chicken) and gravy but we did not finished it at the end as it was just too sweet to be able to drink it!

Overall, this restaurant food is good and would be back to try other food in the menu! They have another branch at one of the lanes behind Bugis Junction. On another note, while at Junction 10, you might want to check out chickadees. This shop sells fried chicken wings coated with different flavourings. According to waffle, it taste even better if you take away, letting the coated flavouring powder sink into the chicken before eating. Give it a try!
