This is one hawker center that used to have many bbq seafood stalls. However, more stalls have given up, with the two famous ones remaining behind. The first dish was the mixed pork soup. There was a generous serving of the different kind of pork and the waffle loved it! There is the option of having rice to go with it. However, if you are not hungry, this soup option is the best.
The second dish was the seafood fried rice. So far, this is the best fried rice I have eaten in Singapore. There is actually not much seafood choices. However, they are quite generous with the amount of seafood they put into the rice with prawns and sotong/squid being the main seafood. There is also a substantial amount of chopped cabbage in the rice to ensure that there is some veg in it. I can't exactly remember the name of the shop, but if I remember correctly it is called Sock Lai or something like that. It is located in the middle aisle of the food center and they have a wide range of bbq seafood that also taste good!
To conclude, this is one food center you must try. Though there are not many stalls open at night, the range is good enough for you to have dinner there. There is also a bakery that sells similar bread to the famous barcook bakery. Perhaps you might want to try and compare to see which shop sells better buns. There is only one shop that sell buns there so you will not miss it!
